The barge is three separate parts. The orange pusher boat can carry up to 6 tonnes and the two platforms that make up the barge platform carry up to 60 tonnes.

Both the pusher boat and the barge platform have “spuds” — posts that are pushed into the base of the lake to anchor it.

The pusher boat has a manual ramp and the large platform of the barge has a hydraulic ramp.

Many upgrades have made the barge safer, more functional and to better move your goods.

An aggregate shield, or bumper, on the barge, means that materials like sand, soil, woodchips and aggregate can be dumped and taken off without loss.
